Daniella Maglione, PsyD

Dr. Daniella Maglione (aka Dr. Dani) is a licensed and certified School Psychologist,  who specializes in assessment and counseling.  Currently, she is employed full-time as a National Senior Clinical Consultant with Pearson and is an adjunct professor working with NOVA Southeastern University.  Previously, Daniella worked as School Psychologist for Hillsborough County Schools.  During that time, she was designated as Team Leader for the Bilingual Team. 
 

Daniella has experience counseling children and families who have experienced sexual abuse.  In addition, she utilizes CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) approaches in counseling to empower individuals and help them reach their potential.  Along with personalized counseling services, Daniella specializes in the assessment of individuals with learning disabilities, Dyslexia, Autism/Asperger’s, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) Giftedness, and Culturally/Linguistically diverse populations.  Overall, she has over 25 years of experience and is knowledgeable about matters regarding Local Education Agencies (LEA) procedures and the Florida Department of Education (DOE) guidelines. 
 

Daniella presents at the national level on a variety of topics, including English Language Learners, Dyslexia, Autism, Giftedness, mental health, social-emotional learning, specific learning disabilities, and ADHD. The Florida Associational of School Psychologists (FASP) nominated her for School Psychologist of the year for her work with English Language Learners (ELL) and Giftedness. 


Daniella completed her graduate studies at Florida State University and National Louis University.  She enjoys spending time with her two sons and husband and is an avid exercise enthusiast and traveler.  She can be reached at 813-672-1021.

Maggie Neidhardt, EdD

 

Dr. Maggie Neidhardt is a Florida licensed and nationally certified school psychologist with nearly 30 years of experience.  She started her career as a special education teacher, with 11 years of classroom experience, as well as school and district level leadership roles. 
 
Prior to moving back to her home town of Tampa, Maggie served as a Reading Specialist and Classroom Management trainer for the state of Georgia.  She was also an adjunct professor for Mercer University School of Education.  She prides herself in being an expert in the development of reading and in working with students with emotional struggles and autism, providing detailed and comprehensive evaluations to help families obtain the supports and services needed for their child, in a variety of settings.  She is a fierce advocate for all children, no matter their challenges.

Maggie is also a skilled counselor, providing a safe and supportive environment where children, adolescents, and adults can explore their thoughts and feelings, with goals centered around gaining insights and developing strategies to overcome challenges.  Individual and family growth leads to improved well-being, enhanced relationships, and reduced conflict.  
 
Maggie completed her doctoral studies at Loyola University Chicago and is currently.  She is an active volunteer in the community, serving in leadership roles with the Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts, as well as volunteering to teach social emotional skills at her neighborhood elementary school.  She enjoys learning and traveling with her husband and twin children.  She can be reached at 813-722-1021.

Carla Alvarez Anderson, PsyS

Carla Anderson is a licensed and certified School Psychologist specializing in assessment, school advocacy, and counseling. She currently works with private schools in the Tampa Bay Area, leading social skills and executive functioning groups. Previously, Carla served as a school psychologist for Pasco County Schools for 18 years, where she was part of the leadership team and acted as the lead consultant and trainer for Autism Spectrum, Low Incidence, and Developmentally Delayed Evaluations. Additionally, she worked with the Tridas Center for Childhood Development, conducting multi-disciplinary evaluations alongside developmental pediatricians.  She is also a seasoned and skilled administrator of the ADOS-2.

Before her career as a school psychologist, Carla spent 5 years as an elementary and special education teacher for Hillsborough County Public Schools. Carla specializes in parent coaching and counseling neurodivergent individuals, helping them navigate their social world by building social competencies, developing organizational skills, and nurturing relationships to achieve their social goals. In addition to personalized counseling, Carla is an expert in assessing individuals with specific learning disabilities (such as Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, and Dyscalculia), Autism, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Giftedness, and Developmental Disabilities. She is also highly skilled in school improvement, understanding state and federal regulations for students with disabilities and general education, Response to Instruction/Intervention (RTI), Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), Positive Behavior Support (PBS), Individual Education Plans (IEPs), 504 Accommodation Plans, and intervention design.

Overall, Carla has over 23 years of experience and possesses extensive knowledge in Multi-Tiered Systems of Support/Response to Intervention (MTSS/RTI), Individual Education Plans (IEPs), 504 accommodation assessments and plans, and the guidelines of the Florida Department of Education (DOE).Carla earned a Master of Science and Specialist Degree in School Psychology from Nova Southeastern University. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Central Florida. Carla enjoys spending time with her daughter, two sons, and husband.
